Sam Larry, has broken his silence regarding the accusations linking him to the tragic demise of singer Mohbad.
Renowned Lagos socialite and show promoter, Samson Erinfolabi Balogun, widely recognized as Sam Larry, has broken his silence regarding the accusations linking him to the tragic demise of singer Mohbad. The 27-year-old artist passed away under controversial circumstances on a fateful Tuesday.
Sam Larry, known for his association with the Marlian Music label, which previously signed Mohbad and is led by Naira Marley, faced a storm of criticism online after a video surfaced, showing him and his associates disrupting Mohbad's video shoot alongside Zlatan Ibile.
It was alleged that Sam Larry and his group subjected Mohbad to relentless harassment and influenced promoters to deny him opportunities, significantly complicating his life after parting ways with Marlian Records.
Three months prior to his untimely death, the late singer had lodged a complaint with the Nigeria Police, citing threats to his life from Sam Larry and Naira Marley.
Addressing these allegations in a widely circulated video on social media, Sam Larry firmly denied any involvement in Mohbad's tragic passing, emphasizing their close bond, stating, "Mohbad is my beloved brother. During his time at Marlian Records, he knew how much I cared for him. His wife and everyone else can attest to my love for Mohbad. Whenever I traveled, whether to Kenya or Dubai, I would call him to join me, and I'd even cover his expenses for shows booked by Marlian Records. The viral videos in question are from last year when I was out of the country. I could never harm Mohbad; God knows my heart, and I knew nothing about his passing."
Hmmmm LIFE !!!!!
